SDA Nnwom

About SDA Nnwom

SDA Nnwom (“Nnwom” is Twi for “hymn”) is a digital Seventh-day Adventist hymnal built around a simple idea: when a hymn number is announced in church, finding and reading it should be immediate — even with no internet connection.

The hymnal presents each hymn in Asante Twi and English side by side, with fast number lookup, full-text search, and an installable app that keeps every hymn available offline once it has been opened. Favorite hymns for quick access later, and the ones you've opened recently are remembered automatically on the home page.

Present mode turns a hymn, a Bible passage, or a custom announcement into full-screen slides for a projector or second screen during a service — the person running it controls everything from their own device while the congregation sees only the slide.

Sheet music is available for many hymns as scanned score pages you can view and enlarge inline. A growing number of hymns also have a “Play Tune” button that plays the melody right in your browser.

Bible translations

Present mode's Bible lookup and search use the World English Bible (English) and Asante Twi Nkwa Asɛm (Twi), sourced verbatim from the BibleNLP/eBible open corpus. No wording has been changed — the only modification is splitting the text into individual verse records for display.

The World English Bible is in the public domain. The Asante Twi Nkwa Asɛm is © Biblica, Inc., used and redistributed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International license.
