Yɛrentumi nhu ntumi nky'rɛ Yaw a Ohui wɔ hɔ; Nanso yɛgye di sɛ yɛn nti Na Ohuu amane.

Verse 3

Owui sɛ yebenya faf'ri; Owui de siesiee yɛn, Na awiei no yɛakɔ soro; Ne mogya agye yɛn.

Verse 4

Ade pa biara nni hɔ a Ebetua bɔne ka; Ɔno nko na Otumi bue S'ro pon' ma yɛhyɛn mu.

Verse 5

Ɔde dɔ kɛse adɔ yɛn, 'Sɛ sɛ yɛdɔ No bi, Na yɛtwer' Ne gye mogya no, Na yɛyɛ N'adwuma.

Verse 2

We may not know, we cannot tell, What pains He had to bear; But we believe it was for us He hung and suffered there.

Verse 3

He died that we might be forgiven, He died to make us good, That we might go at last to heaven, Saved by His precious blood.

Verse 4

There was no other good enough To pay the price of sin; He only could unlock the gate Of heaven and let us in.
